Adoption Miracles

Tell me which is more of a miracle:
  1. A child is born and abandoned. He goes to an orphanage and remains there waiting for a potential new parent. After a few years, now at a mature age, he is adopted and made part of a new family. He rejects instruction and lacks the required manners and respect; or
  2. A child is born and abandoned. He goes to an orphanage and remains there waiting for a potential new parent. After a few years, now at a mature age, he is adopted and made part of a new family. He lives happily with the family, honoring his parents and making them feel that they are his parents; or
  3. A child is born into a family that soon divorces and then stays with the mother. After a few years, at a mature age, his mother meets someone else and remarries. He accepts his new father and lives peacefully and happily with him.
I would say the second and third situations are miracles. It is the same with the way God adopted us. Even after adoption as His sons and daughters, we rebel and do what He has told us will hurt him. It is a miracle beyond our understanding when a sinner repents!
