Ever asked yourself what fear is? I honestly am yet to discover (not be told).
I have a big project that I need to complete (really need to complete) in 2 months at work and I'm not sure that I can do it (since I'm basically new in the industry and at work). My seniors get so excited about the project that they get carried away when talking about features (among other things) they would want to see on the software product (my project) that I get sooooo afraid.
Is fear the stuff that makes you let go of a dream? Is it the stuff that makes you say, "I am going to be honest with them and tell them that I can't do it!"? If it is, then what gives us the courage to fear? What gives us the courage to let go? Why can't we fear to fear?
Answer that!!!
Our Greatest Fear —Marianne Williamson
ReplyDeleteit is our light not our darkness that most frightens us
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented and fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of
God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people
permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
